Dutch Braids
I get asked about these braids ALL the time!!!
It’s just practice!!!! Don’t give up, take your time, the more you practice the better you get..
Every side section goes underneath into the middle…and the middle section goes over then under.
What do I need?
A brush
Clips for sectioning
A comb or pintail comb to divide the hair into two
2 braid bands or small hairbands
Some leave in conditioner or leave in sprays are always nice for a treat!
TOP TIPS
For tight sleek braids, use a styling aid such as moose or gel
Use a leave in conditioner, or even a conditioning treatment before braiding your hair as a HAIR TREAT
Remember the outside sections always go under because it always becomes the middle section, when it’s the middle section, it then goes over and under with the hair that you’ve picked up from the section
Practice as I’ve never taught anyone braids and they got it the first time!
If you can French bread, you can Dutch braid. They’re basically the same The Dutch braid goes under and the French braid goes over.
